HP Procurve 6600-24G-4xg J9264A all leds in ports turn on

Hi everybody,

I have switch HP Procurve 6600-24G-4xg J9264A. When I it turn on, it makes self test and I'm conecting to swich by console port. I can program this switch, but all leds in ports are turn on. It is correctly ? When the leds are turn on, then there is no communication with ports.

What do you think: It is correctly or not ?

I sent in attachment the console output. I must tell, that I can do everything in console, but all led's ports are turn on (in colour green). I don't know how I can turn off it.

It looks like your ports did not fully boot for some reason, which explains the green LEDs and the lack of any ports in VLAN 1.

Does the log have any errors for those ports? "Show log -b"

We should also look at upgrading the code on it via the USB port.

I have no command show log b, but after the command show log a it gave me errors. I sent you errors list in a file "show log a.txt". There is error: Ports 1-24 self test failure or unsupported. Switch couldn't do self test. If I make upgrading the code on it via the USB port, it can help? What do You think about it?

Ps.: In attachment I sent too information about errors, after the command show log E.

Certainly can't hurt, could also be a hardware issue. 

With the ROM you have you should be able to jump to a K.15.xx release.  Probably start with something like K.15.04 and see what happens.

I think, that hardware is break.

I downloaded software K.15.17.0007. Could you tell me how I can upgrade software via USB port ? What cable I shuld use and what command shuld I give ?

You need to put the code on a USB drive, then insert it into the USB port on the switch.  

copy usb flash K_15_17_0007.swi primary

boot system flash primary
