IP ADDRESS-HELPER with seperate DHCP and PXE

Hello,

I have several VLAN in operation.

In VLAN1 is a PXE server and the DHCP server. In the configuration I have specified


ip helper-address DHCP SERVER
ip helper-address PXESERVER


I see it is asked to both servers a request. Both servers also respond with an offer. However, the ProCurve passes only one offer to the VLAN to the client.

What's the output of

show ip helper-address vlan 1

command?

Sorry, my description was wrong. I have set the IP helper in all other VLANs. For example, in VLAN7. Because in VLAN1 are the servers.

 

HP-5406zl# show ip helper vlan 7

 IP Helper Addresses

  IP Helper Address
  -----------------
  192.168.x.x (DHCP Server)
  192.168.x.x (PXE Server)
