Procurve 5412zl transition from 127v to 220v

Hi,

We have a procurve 5412zl switch that is currently connected at 127v, we have a new power line contract at 220v and therefore we would like to connect it to the new line. The switch's power supply has a sticker that states:

Line: 50 / 60 Hz.

100 - 127 V - 12A (12A)

200-240 V - 5A (5A)

It is just a matter of connecting to the new power line or do we have to do something else?

Re: Procurve 5412zl transition from 127v to 220v

Since the label clearly states supported Input AC values (100-127 V AC or 200-240 V AC, both 50/60 Hz) it is just a matter of connecting new Input AC at 220 V AC ...if you have the minimum of 2 Power Supply units (as it should)...you can concurrently power them differently (one at 110 V and the other at 220 V) - or power one PS with the new line at 220 V then migrate the other PS - provided that both your power lines are available at the same time...doing so you can transition from one to the other without actually power cycling your switch.
