Routing Policy
hi,
i am currently working with HP procurve 8212 zl switch running software version K.15.12.0010 with V1 modules, i am trying to redirect traffic to be redirected to a WAN optimizer appliances that is configured as virtual in-path thats why i need redirection of incoming and ongoing traffic, i have searched for the policy based routing its not enabled unless we have the v2 modules which is unavailable, i have done the route policy but dont know how to apply it on the intended interfaces or vlans

Re: Routing Policy
You have identified the problem! Policy-based-routing (PBR) is unavailable when running in compatibility mode (ie V1 and v2 modules installed). If just V2 modules are installed, you can disable compatibility mode and those V2 only software features will be available.
The latest K15.14 firmware has a new feature called smartlink that might be useful albeit quite different.
