SNMP Traps for PoE Controller failures - HP 5412zl

Some of our J9534a blades in our 5412zl chassis will have PoE controllers move into a disabled state. Logs usually indidcate some kind of power undervoltage error, and it knocks out the PoE controller, which basically controls groups of 4 ports at a time.

We use IMC to monitor our switches but they did not pick up on these issues where PoE gets disabled on the ports, but normal operations continue (so a desktop would work fine while a phone/AP would not)

How do i get IMC to detect these issues, or how do i get the switch to send some kind of trap when this happens?

(my knowledge of SNMP MIB's is sorely lacking, so I'm not particularly familiar with figuring out how to do SNMP walks, etc)

thanks!

I haven't seen SNMP traps for these POE controller failure conditions. Since there are syslog entries, you can direct them to the IMC server, and then have IMC send an alert email, or convert them to an alarm

logging <IMC server IP Address>

Does anyone actually know if there's an OID to poll to detect such PoE controller failures?

Thanks!
