Uplink between gigabit ports in HP Switches
Dear Team,
Uplink between gigabit switches (Hp Procurve 3500yl-48Gpoe+ and Aruba 2920-24G Poe+ is not working. The Distance between the switches are nearly 25 metres. Is there any distance requirment for these switches.

Re: Uplink between gigabit ports in HP Switches
Hi
No there is not a distance requirement for these switches. It's the same as all switches connected with copper cabels. (Max 100 meters).
Make sure your ports aren't in shutdown or your SFP's are compatibel with the switches.
If that is ok, try to connect the swithces directly to each other. If the ports come up, you know the problem is with your cabling.
Kind regards
