Altiris Agent on Windows 2008 x64 issues

Hi,

I am currently running HP RDP 3.83 and can't get the Altiris Agent to run correctly on Windows 2008 x64. I see the aclient.exe in the task manager running but I don't see it in the taskbar nor up in the Altiris Deployment Manager. Anyone ever see this? This is happening on all our Windows 2008 x64 servers...

We had to use the DAgentx64.msi instead of the AClient (...express\Agents\AClient).

did you push the agent to the server from the DS console?

We've done both. We have it as part of our build script but we have also pushed it through the Console.

Do you have the AIK installed?

Ya, we are using AIK and some WinBatch scripting to get it all working together.
