BL35 San boot - and Software Raid on IDE
OK, two questions but both on the BL35, though probably applicable to the BL30 as well.
If I'm using a pair of 60GB ATA drives, RDP should automatically install to one. I then have to setup software RAID for the 2nd. Does anyone know how this can be automated? I think its diskpart I have to manipulate but I dont have the time or equipment to play.
Also does anyone know why the IDE controller needs to be enabled on a BL35 for Rdeploy to be able to deploy the initial image when SAN booting - even when there are no IDE drives installed? Caught us out for a few days this one. Doesn't help when the pl-bfs.ini hardware deployment script disables it and then next is run rdeploy.
