Capture of w8k image fails with invalid partition structure

I am trying to capture Win2008 Server images using RDP 3.83 (Altiris 6.9 build 365). Capture works fine for win2003, but win2008 fails with "the partition structure is invalid or unrecognizable". The servers reside as VMs on an ESX 3.5 host. I'm booting to Linux for capturing.

Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated.
