NC371i driver for WinPE
will work with both the NC371i and the NC373i (which can be found in the 380 G5 server). They're right, it will work for the NC373i, but not the NC371i!
This is a big problem for me since all of our servers are imaged by PXE booting and then loading the WinPE client to connect to our deployment server via the network.
Anyone else having trouble with the NC371i drivers not working within WinPE? I'm using the WinPE (boot.wim) file located on the Vista DVD.
any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance....blockhead

Re: NC371i driver for WinPE
you need special RIS drivers for this network card. Go to http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/netxtremeii.php and download drivers under "Windows Remote Installation Service (RIS) Drivers" for Windows 2003. Should work.

Re: NC371i driver for WinPE
If you have been followng this thread from the beginning you would know that the RIS drivers for VISTA boot.wim do not work. The driver works fine within a WinPE 2005 client, but not the VISTA WinPE client.

Re: NC371i driver for WinPE
I havent been able to get those drivers loaded into ISO image or \ISO\*.* folder on my winpe 2.0 source. If someone can help with simple steps - that would help.
