RDP Version 2.20 and DL380 G5
Hi All,
I have RDP version 2.20 installed and have been using it to deploy images to BL20p G3 blade servers. But I have a new DL380 G5, which is causing me some issues:
- I tried to push the HP Long Installation that came with RDP to it, but that failed. So I have manually installed the DL380 G5 using smartstart, and I tried to take an image of the server.
- When I try and use the capture, it tells me it is booting using Wake on LAN (even though the Os is running and the server it up), but it never gets anywhere.
- Another thing it that in the RDP console, I can see the icon for the DL380 G5 server, but when I check its properties the "active" test is greyed out and it does not know any of the servers properties.
As I am new to this software, Is the DL380 G5 supported with this version of RDP? (where can I find a support matrix)
What does "active" mean in the RDP gui?
Or, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Ronnie

Re: RDP Version 2.20 and DL380 G5
Not supported. You will need to upgrade - RDP 3.1 is now out.
