RDP console very slow..... / job applicable on only one server

Hi all,

I'ma a newbie at RDP and I have 2 questions

1. I installed it and it's unsuable because the console is very very slow. It needs 10 secondes to open the tool menu for instance. I installed it on a blade, dual CPU E 5504 at 2 Ghz with 12 Go of RAM under Windows 2008 R2. Only two servers are managed yet. The database is 17 MB.

Otherwise, the tools of the OS run at normal speed.

Do you have any idea ?

2. I would like to be sure that a job can be applied to only one server, even if the job is drag and drop on a group of server to avoid mistakes. I looked at job conditions, but the is not field for this. Is there a way to do that ?

1. is the db for altiris local or remote?
2. Are you using console security?
3. What is the performance of the server in general like?
