Re: RDP for Domain Controllers and Clustered Setup
Louis,
I dont think you can deploy finished DC's or Clusters Images without probelms.
In the RDP training guides I have the way of deploying Clusters it shows,is to do a scripted or image install of a non clustered node and then to script setting up the cluster.
I would expect that for a DC you run a DCPROMO script.

Re: RDP for Domain Controllers and Clustered Setup
Using the unattend.txt file, you can set up both AD Controllers and Cluster.
Restoring images of these 2 beasts are a different story. I would expect that if the whole cluster failed, you should be able to restore both nodes from the 2 different images, but it might be harder to restore a single node and add it backto a cluster.
It is sometimes easier to restore a base image of the node, then run the cluster wizard manually to join it back into the cluster.
DC's... well, they might have issues if there are existing DC's on the network and think that that server is now gone.
Just some thoughts, I have not done either of these.
Happy Holiday's,
Steven
