Smart Update Manager 7.2.0 hung in Scouting

After discovering all nodes in four ranges (four subnets, so each is x.x.x.1 to y.y.y.255), 100 nodes are found, many OA and iLO are identified and in "Ready to start inventory", but some nodes are UNKNOWN and in "Scouting" overnight (over 17 hours).

With nodes in Scouting, SUM refuses to shutdown. Since it seems unlikely these wil ever complete, should I fource the SUM engine to exit?

I'm running SUM from Service Pack for Prolaint 2015.04 under Windows 7 in a VM.

I've since opened a support ticket when SUM started crashing.
