0x00000019 (0x00000020, 0x8a368498, 0x8a3684c0, 0x0a050001)

I'm getting this message since installation of service pack one on windows 2003 server on a dl580 server. Microsoft isn't showing any reference to this problem in 2003 server. In windows 2000 it references a BAD_POOL_HEADER error and instructs to remove any new hardware installed. Since I haven't changed the hardware configuration, I'm lead to believe there is a problem with a hardware driver. Possibly the embedded hotplug controller. Is there any way to confirm, check or resolve this issue? This error ocurs in safe mode, last known good as well.

Smartstart 7.1 tests show everything as operational.

Rick,

Try re-installing HP Product Support Pack (PSP) 7.10 from the following link. You may have accidently replaced an HP driver with a Microsoft one for a SCSI or Fibre-Channel controller when updating to SP1. Re-installing the PSP will sort out any required HP driver issues.

7.20 PSP has an issue with Secure Path and the Management Home Page so if you have Secure Path installed don't update to PSP 7.20. This is just a precaution, I don't know how your system is actually set up but I'm aware of the 7.20 issue.

I hope this helps.

Unfortunately I have experimented with un-installing SP1 and gone from bad to worse.
I'm going to re-install Server 2003 and upgrade to PSP7.3 before installing SP1 and give it a try.

Thanks for the help.
