The only thing that I'd think with the Support Pack that could cause this if it were to update firmware on the sys board or the controller. But for the most part - everything on the SP is driver related.
If you leave the controller out - you could update the system ROM since it will no longer hang.

Thanks for your responses! Update: I put the offending controller in one of our ML307s and I was able to get the "F1 to continue" prompt. It still seems that it hangs diagnostics when inpecting the computer's hardware, and it seemed to hang the ROMPaq for the Options ROM at the same point (I was going to try to flash the ROM). Is it toast? What replaces the 3200 controller ince it is so old? Thanks!
