Pull out all PCI cards and see if the issue goes away.

Re: 101 I/O ROM

When I remove the SCSI PCI Controller Board I get past the I/O ROM error only to get the NON System Disk

Re: 101 I/O ROM

Well, there is your problem - now the question is how to fix it...

Is it an array controller of sorts? Is it a Compaq part or an Adaptec card. If you can get the spare part number - someone could probably find out what type of card it is.

Either way you'd have to get it replaced. I highly doubt your 1600 is still covered under warranty which would mean you would have to purchase anther card. If replacing with a different type of card - you would probably battle with driver issues.

Re: 101 I/O ROM

Thanks for your help Dave. I found the part number amd I'm going to our scrap yard to try to find a replacement.
You were right about the warranty.
