2.5" and 3.5" SAS hard drives

Hi, I just bought a SAS hard drive for my Proliant ML350 g4p, but I didn't know it was 2.5". Is there a way to adapt this hdd to a 3.5" enclosure in this server?

Hello,

No, I don't think there is a way.
Had this been a ML350 G5, Changing the Drive Cage would have helped;

I would suggest, getting it replaced.

r example Ml350 g5 has two models SFF(2.5") and LFF(3.5")

but there is such a option for ml350 g4p

also as you can see here there is not 2.5" HDD option for this server

They are right. There is no conversion kit to adapt 2.5" to 3.5" so I would suggest you to return the 2.5 and get a 3.5 one.
