226 Power Fault Detected Embedded Storage Controller
Recently acquired & setup a DL360p G8. At first boot the system posted corrected.
After a reboot the system now gives
226 Power Fault Detected Embedded Storage Controller.
Is someone able to decode this error?
ILO error code:

Re: 226 Power Fault Detected Embedded Storage Controller
Hi,
A similar issue is discussed here in this post.
As per the error, this is what is expected to be done.
https://techlibrary.hpe.com/docs/iss/shared/error_gen9/GUID-25759D26-F690-458D-A401-878848B26D15.html
226-Power fault detected тАУ Embedded storage controller
226-Power fault detected тАУ Embedded storage controller.
The storage controller is not fully seated.
Action- If the storage controller is embedded on the system board, contact Hewlett Packard Enterprise support.
- If the storage controller is on a removable board, locate and reseat the indicated storage controller option.
Thank You!

Re: 226 Power Fault Detected Embedded Storage Controller
The controller is embedded in the main board, and system is not under warranty.
When I first posted the system it started normal, but shutdown due to incorrect fan configuration(was missing 2 fans), after installing the two fans I am now met with this error.
I tried the #6 dip switch reset, disconnecting the backplane completely, and bringing it to a minimum configuration, but have not yet tried a different cpu, or powersupply.
Would you recommend the system board be replaced at this point?

Re: 226 Power Fault Detected Embedded Storage Controller
Hello,
I would suggest you update the server from the latest bios and ILO firmware and Storage controller firmware.
Share the latest IML error after update, if the issue still persist.

Re: 226 Power Fault Detected Embedded Storage Controller
Hello, thank you for the response!
I have disconnected the SAS backplane completely from the system at this point.
I have 1 E2630 CPU, headsink, 8GB, 460W, 8 fans, 2gb cache, pcie riser, and nothing else plugged into the system board and still creates this error.
I have tried many different part configurations with what I have, some such as removing the pcie riser, swapping the psu, the cpu, different ram, and no backplane powered/plugged in.
I am currently awaiting a system board so I can test that as it seems to be my only solution.

Re: 226 Power Fault Detected Embedded Storage Controller
Hello,
Thank you your update.
I would suggest, you have to log a proper case with HPE, and share the appropriate logs for further analysis.
