2nd top backplane shows fault for all drives connected to it - DL360 G6
We recently added a second 4 bay backplane, spare part # 532147-001 to one of our DL360 G6 servers and for some reason when checking in iLO, all 4 drives are showing as Fault under drive status (See screenshot named Backplane_iLO.png). When checking Smart Storage Administrator, it appears to see the additional 4 drives but there's nothing I can do in there with them (Screenshot named Backplane_SmartStoage.png).
In addition, all drives connected to this top backplane have a solid amber lights on them. We can remove the drive(s) and iLO does recognize the fact that the drive was removed. Any thoughts as to why all drives are showing Fault?

Re: 2nd top backplane shows fault for all drives connected to it - DL360 G6
HI TechGuy123
I Was checking all Screens , its seens tath you ahve 2 Unassigned Driver at HPSSA , have you created some logical driver clicking at that option ?
Have you checked the cables at the Backplane are all good connected ?
Its possible to verify the currently firmware of this smart array and ILO 2?
maybe an firmware update must be performed .
After that chekc the server status , if this issue continue you must contact HP support center and open Case support .
