I have a DL 380 G4 + expansion array with 14 x 300GB SCSI drives. I am able to add them into an array but no matter what RAID level i choose, 5 or 6 it wont let me create an array bigger than 2TB (2097151 MB)
I have tried this on the built in 6i controller and a 6400 smart array controller.
Is there any way to use all 14 drives in 1
raid 6 logical drive?

Solution
No. 2TB is a limitation imposed (I believe) by something in the SCSI protocol. Even the bigger arrays (MSAs and EVAs etc) have a limit of a 2TB LUN.
Given your setup, probably the best you'd be able to do is to create two 7 disk RAID-5 arrays of ~1716GB each, and then combine them somehow at the OS level...
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob
