Hi,
We recently received four 300 GB SCSI disks.
Two disks have model COMPAQ BD30087B53 (Firmware Version HPB5) and I see new firmware for these disks on http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/download/22797.html .
But two other 300 Gb disks we received have
Model COMPAQ BD3008856C (Firmware Version HPB0 ) and I cannot find any firmware updates for these disks. Furthermore, I cannot find any information related to these disks on HP site.
Please help !
Thanks, Igor

Solution
Each model use different firmware, it├в s not necessary if one uses HPB5 for other to be at same level, as long it it├в s latest.
BD3008856C HPB0 is initial release; there is no need in updates.
all updates can be found if necessary.

Re: 300 Gb ROM Flash Component update
KOV, thanks for your reply.
So, you say only after HPB1 (or something) firmware for this disk will be released - I will see this disk model on
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/index.html ???

Re: 300 Gb ROM Flash Component update
If there will be some needs for performance tuning probably it will be HPB2
