300GB HDDs 10k SAS Drive is predicted to fail soon

I upgraded X8 146GB HDDs with 300GB HDDs and 6of them were fine but three have gone into a Drive is predicted to fail soon status, I have replaced the drives three times now an I still get the same. Any ideas?

Hi,

As per the attached ADU Report, three drives are having "Read Errors Hard".

Physical Drive (300 GB SAS) 2I:1:9
Read Errors Hard    0x00002727

Physical Drive (300 GB SAS) 2I:1:10
Read Errors Hard    0x00000178

Physical Drive (300 GB SAS) 2I:1:11
Read Errors Hard    0x000003f8

This may happen for the following reasons:

Firmware of the drive and or controller.

Hard drive backplane connector faulty.

SAS/SATA cable from backplane to controller.

Controller itself.
