32bit SCSI-2/E change scsi id
I am trying to cluster two old Proliant servers and share a external array. Both servers have the scsi id controller set to the same ID. I would like to set on or the other to a different id, possibly 6 since it is available. But cannot find anywhere that gives me instructions on how to do it.
The servers will be running W2K advanced server.

Re: 32bit SCSI-2/E change scsi id
Hi Thom:
There is no official Docs from HP on this issue; these cards are not meant for Clustering and they are both set to scsi id 7; you can do it by the jumpers on the cards;
I will try and look for docs on this;
but I don't think we can find it form HP site.
Best regards,
Tarek.

Re: 32bit SCSI-2/E change scsi id
Tarek,
These are embedded cards, not expansion. I am going to go look after lunch to see if I can find the switches.
Thanks and if you find the docs let me know please.
