341 72 KGB 2-Port SAS Drive is predicted to fail soon.
Hi All,
I did some searching in the forums before posting, but came up empty.
I have a DL380 G5 that recently had 6 drives all go into a "Failure Pending" status. I have swapped out drives several times, but the errors will not clear after the array finishes the rebuild.
I have a Smart Array P400 installed with firmware version 7.22. I have a single logical drive sporting RAID 5.
Has anyone come across this issue before? If so, what was done to fix it?

Just swapped out the hard drive back plane. Powering it up now.

Re: 341 72 KGB 2-Port SAS Drive is predicted to fail soon.
hi,
In my opinion - all those 6 drives are unfortunately gone. If you go to replace those drives, please make a backup, recreate the raid and install the new drives at once. The errors will be overwrited, If you replace the hdds one by one.
Thanks
regards,
