35/70 AIT Tape Drive

It appears that these tape drives will not 'lock in' properly. The only way I have found to retain this type of drive in this model of server, is to manually force the blue sliding locking device back down.
Is this a manufacturing error? ie, are the holes in the tape drive about 1mm too far forward? This has happened with three configurations in 1 month so far! Please look into this Compaq/HP.

I had this same problem a few months ago. The only fix that the Compaq tech could come up with was to file down the inside edge on the front face plate of the AIT drive. After five minutes with a nail file it fit perfectly!
