36,4 GB HDD @ Proliant 3000
Does someone know as the HP/Compaq 36.4GB Hot Plug HDD 176496-B22 runs in a Prloiant 3000 (P9). In the Quick Spec-PDF of the Smart Array 3200 Controller only "-B21" HDD´s are mentioned. Actually i have 6x9.1 GB HDD as a RAID 5 Array but i want to upgrade the Disk Space by placeing Singel Drives and i won´t configure them as an additional Array or place them in the running array. Is it possibl

According to the "HDD Compatibility Table" this should work (see attachement hotplug_old.pdf, an older revision of the compatibility table which includes the PL 3000)
The current hdd compatibility table can be found at:
