36gb hard drives
We have lost 4 - 36gb hard drives at three separate customers. Has anyone else found similar issues. This could be similar to the ML350 G1 power supply issue with fought three years ago.
Please let me know.
thanks

Re: 36gb hard drives
Did the drives actually fail or were they in predicted to fail? I have seen issues where certain drives will specify false reports if they have an incorrect firmware. http://h71025.www7.hp.com/support/reference_library/viewdocument.asp?countrycode=1000&prodid=373&source=EX020918_CW01.xml&dt=3&docid=12943
We have put out a good amount on 36gb hotplug drives (Ultra3 and U320.. mostly 10k) and I've only had about 2 fail so far.

Yes, they failed.
