3D Video Card
I am attempting to install a 3d video card into a proliant 800 and having no luck. Each it is put into the slot and booted I get absolutely no video output at all. Any Suggestions?

What kind of Proliant 800 is it (Pentium Pro or Pentium 2)? The P-Pro's came with a seperate video card, the P2's were embedded.
If it was the latter (Pentium 2) you will have to disable the onboard video (Switch 1 - toggle 1 to ON). Page 7 has a good diagram http://h71025.www7.hp.com/support/reference_library/viewdocument.asp?countrycode=1000&prodid=28&source=313656-001.xml&dt=13&docid=7679
it should also be pictured on the inside of the side panel.

Did you try disabling the embedded video? Assuming the server is a PII or PIII server: this will be switch #1 in the switch bank on the front edge of the system bd, next to the slot for PPM #2.
This switch should be in the "on" position to disable the embedded video.
