3rd Party Software Service does not start automatically after Proliant support Pack and Bios Upgrade
We have recently installed the Proliant Support Pack and upgraded the Bios on a ML 350 Server. We have some Document Management Software installed on the Server for which services would start automatically prior to upgrades. However since the upgrades the Services have to ba started Manually,
Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Agha:
Does your software give a message in the error log about a dependencies or time out or something?
What O/S are you using?
Have you tried to set recovery options on the service?

Re: 3rd Party Software Service does not start automatically after Proliant support Pack and Bios Upgrade
I have not tried Recovery Options, I will try this out of Hours, however, the Service doesnt actually try to start, so therefore would not fail over to take action.
The Server is a Windows 2000 Server,
There is no error entry Unfortunatley.
Thanks for your help.
