460 g6 8.25 support pack Linux

We have 2 new G6 servers and use them for vmware 4. I installed the 8.25 support pack and the servers reboot with the following error:
Critical: System Overheating (Zone 10, Location Storage, Temperature Unknown)
A system reboot has been requested by the management processor in 60 seconds.
Broadcast message from the root (Mon Dec 7 20:38:41 2009)
When I uninstall the support pack the reboots stop. ANyone have any ideas or know of issues witht he support pack or g6 servers?
