4x extra SAS HDDs after already 4x SAS HDDs on front
Hi
I have an HPE Proliant Dle360 gen9 configured with 1x 500w PS, 32GB ram, 1x 12 core Xeon cpu.
At the moment its total 4 front bays are occupied by 4 SAS 3.5'' HDDs. I want to replace them with 4 SAS SSDs and also reconnect the 4 SAS 3.5'' HDDs some other way.
Do I have the necessary connectors for SAS data and power on the motherboard? Would a SAS to SATA solution work? As a last resort, if there's no way to get power I could add an external normal PC PS with molex power connectors.

Hello,
You can check the DL360 Gen9 Server cabling document accessible at https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c05054390 which might give you more details on cabling part.

Re: 4x extra SAS HDDs after already 4x SAS HDDs on front
Hello,
In addition to the above response, you may review the note on the first page of this model server's QuickSpecs, which indicates that you may configure hard drives in the following way:
4 SAS/SATA (Drive 1-4) + 6 NVMe (Drive 5-10)
