5302 controller merges two logical disks in to one

We 'had' a W2k file server built & running yesterday, two logical drives across 6 x 72GB physical disks.
LD 1 = 8GB for system OS
LD 2 = the rest of the PD for file storage.

This monring the server had rebooted itself after a failure & was sat saying no operating system.
We went in to the ACU on boot and it was showing 1 LD of 339GB size....
What happened to the 'two' logical disks is my question, and what would be even more helpful is can I get them back?

Many thanks in advance,

one thing you can try is to remove the disks from the system. then delete any configuration from the array controller, ie all logical drives and arrays. then re-insert the disks and see if that helps.

While waiting for a response we coinsidently tried this.
The controller reports no disks + no logicals, put them back in and up comes the single large LD config again....

Any other thoughts appreciated please.
