532 Array controller lockup
Hi.I have a customer who is running a Proliant ML350 G2 machine with a Smart Array 532 controller. There seems to be a problem in that when the machine is booted it gives a 17XX error stating that there is a bios/controller lock on that Array controller. After a bit of pressing he told me that they were attempting to upgrade the firmware on the controller with Smart Start 6.40 (which was unsuccessful) and after rebooting the machine the above mentioned error occured. He also said that when the machine is now booted into Smart Start, it shows that there is no mass storage (raid controller) available.Any thoughts? Thanks

Re: 532 Array controller lockup
You need a new 532 controller.

Re: 532 Array controller lockup
That's what I thought. I have a feeling that the user downed the machine while the firmware was upgrading. Thanks
