628-Redundant Power Supply Mismatch
I bought a Proliant DL 180 G6 server with a CS Power Supply (SPN: 511778-001).
Then I bought another power supply (SPN: 511778-001) and I installed together with the previousver.
When i start the server I got the following error:
"628-Redundant Power Supply Mismatch - Fatal error ... System halted".
If I use the same individual, the server will start correctly.
What can I do?

Re: 628-Redundant Power Supply Mismatch
Hello,
you should use only identical power supplies in one server. But as you've written you already have them identical.
The first step would be to upgrade firmware of the server to the latest one. Because it's asystem firmware that decides that power supplies are incompatible and shows you a corresponding message.
You can update it with SPP. You can either burn it down to dvd and boot from it or make a bootable flash using HP USB Key utility or run SPP uner your operating system (you may need to reboot server to make update complete).
Please update firmware and try to boot a server with 2 power supplies.

Re: 628-Redundant Power Supply Mismatch
As suggested I updated the firmware.
Currently the firmware is 04.25 (Aug/01/2012) as you can see in the attachment.
Is this the newest?
Then I started the server with the two power supply and I notice an update of the sdrr as you can see in the attachment.
After the upgrade unfortunately I still get the same error: 628-Redundant Power Supply Mismatch!
I attach the label of the two power supplies used.
I also noticed that if I start the server with one power cord disconnected and one connected, i receive a warning (press F1 to continue with power cord disconnected), then the server starts anyway.
Next I inserted the power cord (the unplugged one) and I unplugged the other.
The server remains on. It seems that everything worked well regardless of the previous warning.

Re: 628-Redundant Power Supply Mismatch
Nobody can help me?
How do I get support directly from HP?
The server and the power supplies are guaranteed!
