641 Multiple Arrays?
Can I have 3X72GB & 3X146GB drives in my ML350 G4 with a 641 controller & have 2 separate RAID 5 Arrays?
Basically we have a RAID5 with 3X72GB & I want to an a new Array of 3X146GB to the Server.
Thanks!
+anthony

Re: 641 Multiple Arrays?
Hi,
yes you can do this.
If you now have Array A and 1 logical drive from the 3x72gb HDDs, you can either :
1. Make another array with 1 logical drive with the 3 new HDDs or
2. Make second logical drive in the 1st Array from the 3 HDDs.
The best is to turn off the server, plug the new HDDs, power it on & go in ACU...
