64bit 66mhz turned off?
So, there I was thinking that I had a faulty 5300 card. I then decided to insert my NC71XX single port Gigabit NICs into the 66mhz slots.
Server didn't pick them up. Green lights on the Card slot but no lights on the Switch or rear of either cards.
This has got me thinking, is there some way that these 66mhz slots been turned off on my ML370 server? can they be turned off via a DIP switch? Software?
Seems strange that the six 33mhz slots are all fine and yet the two 66mhz won't feed any power to the cards.
Thanks for looking.

Re: 64bit 66mhz turned off?
Almost seems like these two slots are disabled.
What does the green/red light indicate on the actual PCI slot? it flashes red, then goes green.
Is it a hotpluggable indicator? can remove card/ cannot remove card?
Thanks for your continued help.

Re: 64bit 66mhz turned off?
The order for hot-plug operation:
1) Press button
2) Wait until led-off
3) Replace card
4) Press button
Note that hot-plug operation must be supported on driver side.
