6i smart array controller locked in my Proliant DL 380 server
After testing another Motherboard in my Proliant DL 380 Gen 4 server, it started displaying a "6i smart array controller locked until hardware issues are resolved" when I returned the original motherboard during boot-up, and it will automatically reboot after 4 seconds since it cannot boot from the HDD. Please I will appreciate a fast response to enable me resolve this issue.

Re: 6i smart array controller locked in my Proliant DL 380 server
Try this procedure:
Install the new system board
Pull out all hard drives
Inside BIOS (RBSU):
Advanced Options
Erase Non-volatile Memory
Warning: Clearing NVRAM will reset all configuration settings to their default values.
Turn off your server
Insert all hard drives again and boot.
