Re: 7.9 firmware upgrade
it is a 6i controller integrated, but the problem is not with that card...
I tried to install a PCI-X network card, and after array initializitaion the network card option ROM is initialized, so the problem is not with the array controller....
But again it stops after initializing the added PCI-X card. so the problem is with the integrated NIC (I don't know the exact type)...
Thanks

Re: 7.9 firmware upgrade
I dont know if I'm confused
at the beginning was
"it starts booting, initialize ILO, and array, then it stops without saying anything.
"
so now is "and after array initializitaion the network card option ROM is initialized"
I just wanted to know what is the text you got in POST
well both 6i or nic card they are integrated if one of them is having issues the SB is the part
so you dont have the option to get into BIOS (RBSU) right?
regards
