ADS issue with DL360 G5 server

I am trying to boot into ADS deployment agent on a HP DL360 G5. I am keeping getting the error "windows could not start due to an error while booting from a ramdisk". I already tried various drivers from HP & broadcom sites into the 'user\presystem\*, changing the IRQ of the NIC & controller, both version ADS 1.0 & 1.1 with the hotfixes, and no luck... has anyone run into this error, any resolution to it.

thanks in advance for the help
Andy

Re: ADS issue with DL360 G5 server

Hello Andy,
Quoting Microsoft's MSDN:

"This message indicates that the Remote Boot Server Pre-Boot Execution Environment (RBSPXE) server was unable to locate the file on the server. For example, the specified image file name is incorrect or the image file was not copied into the designated TFTP downloads path. Ensure that the file is named correctly and is present in the TFTP downloads path."

Re: ADS issue with DL360 G5 server

Hi folks,
Thanks for the reply. The ADS environment I am setting up is really simple. One ADS server (Dell GX110) with DHCP, ADS 1.1, NBS, & everything connected to a stand alone hub. And the client is the DL360 G5 connecting to this stand alone hub as well. very simple environment as you can see. At this point, I am just asking the Dl360 G5 to boot in deployment agent, and not even trying to capture an image or anything.

Did the hotfixes (don't work on ADS 1.1), trying many version of network drivers, etc...

Any thing else that you can think of???

Thanks again,
Andy
