ADUReport - Should I be worried?
HW: 2x HP DL380 G9
. P440ar + SAS Expander
. 2x 1.6TB SSD + 11x 1.8TB SAS 10K HDD
OS is VMware ESXi 6.0 with HPE StoreVirtual VSA.
So I finally got around to install HPSSADU and VMware vSphere CLI so I could run an online ADUReport.
Most of it looks fine, but two things worries me:
1. I am seeing "bus faults" on all SSD's:
Bus Faults 0x00000003
Bus Faults 0x0000001b
Bus Faults 0x00000003
Bus Faults 0x00000003
2. "Physical Drive Error Log" on all SSD's:
Smart Array P440ar in Embedded Slot : Internal Drive Cage at Port 1I : Box 1 : Physical Drive (1.6 TB SATA SSD) 1I:1:17 : Serial SCSI Physical Drive Error Log
Errors Logged 11 (0x0000000b)

Re: ADUReport - Should I be worried?
Hi,
i checked adu report.
Failure and Predictive Failure Errors not seems bay 17 or bay 18 SSD Disks.
Make sure that you have the latest drivers and BIOS loaded for your RAID controller.

Re: ADUReport - Should I be worried?
Thanks Erdogan for looking into this.
I know I need to update FW/drivers. I just need to find a service window.
Not easy as these servers hosts almost 40 VM's. :)
Regards
Kristian

Re: ADUReport - Should I be worried?
Hi,
SAS expander cards firmware seems 1.80, last verison 2.1.
http://h20565.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=7271242&swItemId=MTX_e943c2bde25e40a1b2170ba586&swEnvOid=4183#tab-history
Drive Model HP 12G SAS Exp Card
Drive Serial Number empty
Drive Firmware Revision 1.80
There are expander card, conrtoller card and bios versions in SPP 2017.04
I think If you install spp 2017.04, problems will be solved.
Erdogan.
