APC SC1500 UPS and ML330

Hi,

Can i use a APC SC1500 UPS together with a ML 330 server?

Is the waveform type "Stepped approximation to a sinewave" the wrong type?

I've consulted APC, they say it's not ok.

You can consider ML330 server as big PC with better power supply and system BUS.

However invest in a Pure Sine Wave UPS if money is not an issue

Now i'm even more convinced that the man i spoke at APC was trying to solve the economical crisis by himself.... :-)

Although it could that i move this ups to my workstation and buy one that VMWare can utilize directly.
