ASR on DL380G4.

Hi
ASR rebooted one of my systems last night, and I have no other logs to point me to the origin of the problem.

Is there anywhere else I can get something to point to the origin of the problem?

I'm running linux rhel3.0u6 on dl380g4.

Also the default passwd of
https://1.2.3.4:2381/cpqlogin.htm?RedirectUrl=/&RedirectQueryString=

is not being accepted as administrator administrator
is there anywhere I can remove all passwd requirements or reset the passwd from the OS?

Thanks.
Bill

Hello Bill,

I thought its root on linux boxes if you want to login to SMH.

Check http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00207603тМй=en&cc=us&taskId=101&contentType=SupportFAQ&prodSeriesId=397634&prodTypeId=15351

Re: ASR on DL380G4.

ok, not much found there either...
I was able to get into the web access by modifying the xml conf file in /opt/hp/hpsmh/conf allowing anonymous logins.

In terms of the panic, I'm no closer...

Re: ASR on DL380G4.

the ASR was triggered because there was an OS panic. ASR was set to 10 min timeout at which point the server was restarted.

I'll open a new thread re the panic.
It works for me (tm)
