Accelerator Perm. Disabled

I added a new Battery Backed Write Cache Enabler to a Smart Array 5i. The Battery was defect, and it depleted within hours. While booting, a Write error from the Cache occured.
Now I've changed the Battery, and this one loads perfectly. But the Cache still is permanent disabled.
Is there a chance to re-enable the Cache, or is there another problem with the memory?

Re: Accelerator Perm. Disabled

Michael:

You have to give 72 hours for the battery to fully charge. After that the cache should be enabled. If that is not the case, then you should start thinking about the cache memory on the 5i. There is no option that I know that you can toggle and enable the Cache.
