Active Directory

Could someone please tell me where to put the active directory files from within a cluster? Do I put them on any particular node? Thanks.

Re: Active Directory

Are you going to use this system as the AD server or just a client of AD? I don't think this is a good choice for an AD server.

Re: Active Directory

I do not think neither a good idea is for a AD server.. Just have a machine (do not need to be powerful for that) next your cluster for taking care of your AD.

Re: Active Directory

If you really need Active Directory installed on the cluster, then BOTH nodes should be set up as a Domain Controller. So install the NTDS folders on local disks on each node.
Each domain (or maybe even each site) should have at least two DC's anyway to provide for redundancy.
