Active Termination for DLT 35/70

How can you tell if your drive includes an on-board active terminator?

I have a 35/70 DLT
Compaq assembly # 242853-B21

I don't believe this unit does. I can't seem to find any documentation either way.

Does anyone know for sure?

Hello Ray,
This internal 35/70 does not include any termination. You need a cable which has a terminator at the end. The Part No you would need is 174599-001. This cable comes with a terminator at the end and you can connect four devices to this cable.
