Adaptec ATA Raid 2400A

I'm unable the install the Controller anyway. My problem is, the BIOS of the Server don't install the Adaptec as a boot device. In the PCI overview i see the Adaptec as a "intelligent I/O Controller" but there is no entry in "Boot Controller Order". I have installed the newest Firmware for all Devices and Probe many Options of parameters for any Device.
The current configuration is:
- Integrated Ultra ATA-100 Controller disabled
- Adaptec Controller with Factory Settings in the second 32 Bit PCI Slot
- two IBM ATA 100 Drive 40GB on IDE0 and IDE1 both as Master connected to the Adaptec Controller

Has anyone the Controller successfull installed?
