Add disk to existing raid 5 proliant DL380 G5
Hello All,
i have 2 disk that i want to add into raid 5(3 Disk), i try using SmartCD but i can't find any solution to do this job, I hope this forum can help me to solve this problem.

Hi BSMI,
For RAID 5 you need minimum 3 disk.
If you have 3 Disk then you can do it as follows
1.Reboot server
2.At that time array card display & option F8 will be appear.
3.Press F8 (for entering ORCU-ooption ROM Configuration Utility)
4.select create array
5.select RAID5
6.save by pressF3
7.exit
8.then again reboot server
9.after that enter by pressing F8 (ORCU)
10.check it by view option
It will help you to solve your issue.
