Add graphics card to PL800 or PL1600?

Does anyone know if a graphics card can be added into an older ProLiant 800 or 1600? I'm not seeing any documentation on how to disable the onboard video, so I'm thinking probably not?
Thanks...

Hi Chris,

the onboard video can be disabled. Find Switch Block SW1, also called system configuration switch. Have a look on the labels on the inside of the cover to find out where it is, it has 6 switches.
Setting Switch 1 of this block to ON will disable onboard video.

Yes you can. Disable the onboard video as described by Stephen.
I use two Matrox Millenium G200 cards in my 800 without any problem. They were sold by Compaq under p/n 124806-B21 and have their own CD-ROM with Compaq Matrox Millenium G200 PCI driver. I bought them in april '99. It is a fairly advanced video card for its time, but fairly standard in its electronic behaviour.
So when they do sell under own label, why would others not work?
I run them at 1600x1200 pixels at 32 bits true color on two Compaq V700 monitors and have in all those years had no trouble at all with them.
You can always improve!
