Add new disk to RAID array on a Proliant ML350 G5

Hi,

I have a Proliant ML350 G5 running a Small Business Server 2003 on a RAID 1 array. The controller is a Smart Array E200i. Now the disks are getting full. I bought two more disk and I'd like to add them to the server.

My question is, can I just simply hot plug both disks (SAS) to the server and create a new volume using the Smart array configuration utility, without stoping the server?

Many thanks in advance,

Short answer; YES!
Remove the 2 blanks, insert hdd's, use SCU, create Raid1, format en you can continue...
